I've had surgery on my arm yesterday, and I've had the day off today to recuperate. Unlucky for me, I've had to go file my taxes and some such annoying activities, which have robbed me of most of my time. I've sat down at the computer about a half an hour ago and I've discovered that I can't use my right hand on the mouse and the mouse simply won't go where needed when maneuvered with the left hand, so surfing the web is difficult. So, I figured I'd write instead, but obviously, typing with only one hand makes me dizzy. So, there, I'm not very happy these days. And Monday I go back to work, where everyone will give me shifty looks, for goofing off. Sure, I just loved having to have surgery.

| The trouble with apricots |

I have a great big apricot tree right outside our windows. It makes really big juicy apricots which would make excellent jam or pie or whatever. So, why do the f**cking apricots have to grow 30 feet in the air where no one can reach them??? All we can do is wait for them to fall down, smack against the concrete, burst open and then collect them and dump them in a barrel to make "tzuica" (traditional local alcoholic beverage which can be made from a variety of fruit, but usually plums)
Yesterday, me, my mom and a friend stood under the darn tree with a sheet spread out and we waited for dad to shake the tree while hanging from an upper story window. Of course, most fruit fell outside of the sheet, though luckily, none fell on us. It would have been a mess.
Anyway, below is a picture of the frustrating tree and it's apricots.
